Malaysia's legendary actor-director and singer, Tan Sri P. Ramlee, passed away on May 29, 1973. Under the current MACP, his descendants will have only another 10 years to receive the royalty payment from his songs. MACP's general manager urges the government to amend the act so that they will continue to be assured of the royalty from Ramlee's music legacy.
